- Additional Place of Business (APOB) Registration: Sellers must register an APOB in the state where their nearest Amazon IXD facility is located, along with GST registration for that location.
- GST Registration in Multiple States: Besides their home state and APOB location, sellers must have GST registration for at least two other states where Amazon IXD locations are present.
Example of Using the Amazon IXD Program
For instance, if you are a seller based in Haryana, you would send your inventory to the nearest Receive Centre (e.g., DED3). Amazon will then transport your products to various Amazon IXD locations depending on your APOB and GST registration in those areas. For example, if you are not registered in Karnataka at the BLR7 or BLR8 Amazon IXD warehouses, your products will not be sent there. To distribute inventory in Karnataka, you must register at a local fulfilment centre in that state.
